In the playoffs, Joe Smith and Atlanta made it to the Eastern Conference semi-finals, losing to Orlando.  Smith did not score in the 5 games he played in, averaging just under 5 minutes per game.  Smith played in his 1000th NBA game this March.  Chris Wilcox briefly became a starter in Detroit before injuring his back in February, and did not play again.  Smith and Wilcox both had seasons statistically below their career averages, as both were asked to be more of a veteran presence in limited minutes off the bench for their teams.  Steve Blake was traded mid-season from Portland to the LA Clippers, but didn't see any real increase or decrease in productivity after the trade. He had stats about the same as his career averages, despite having to share the starting role on both of his teams this year.
