The Dakota Wizards and the Los Angeles D-Fenders made roster moves today, both acquiring former University of Maryland guards. The Wizards acquired Chris McCray, a 6-5, 192-pound rookie, who was released by the Milwaukee Bucks on Jan. 4 after appearing in five games this season. Los Angeles acquired former Terrapin John Gilchrist, who had summer league stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers (2005) and the Denver Nuggets (2006). An early entrant that went undrafted following his junior season at Maryland, Gilchrist, 6-3, 201, has been playing in Israel and France the last two seasons.
