Chris Wilcox Traded to Seattle

Yesterday, Chris Wilcox (2000-02) was traded to the Seattle Sonics after spending almost 4 years with the LA Clippers. From ESPN.com's article:

The 23-year-old Wilcox has career averages of 6.5 points and 3.8 rebounds in three-plus seasons with the Clippers after they made him the eighth overall selection in the 2002 draft following his two-year college career at Maryland.

"We were looking for an athletic player that can play above the rim," [Sonics general manager Rick] Sund said. "His athleticism is a big plus for us, and he can run and can finish. He's looking for a place to be where he can get a fresh start as well."
